DESCRIPTION:Please come out and receive important updates as it relates to the new MARTA BUS STOP location at Camp Creek Parkway and Ben Hill Road. \nRepresentatives from MARTA and the Atlanta Camp Creek Community Improvement District will be in attendance to present and answer important questions about the MARTA site project. \nMARTA is working to bring 1\,000 new bus stop amenities to our system and the communities we serve. Amenities such as new bus shelters\, benches and Simme seats provide increased comfort for our passengers and help retain and increase ridership. New amenities are also symbols of MARTA’s investment in the communities\, and our commitment to collaborating with our local government partners. The amenities are being installed in all jurisdictions served by MARTA. \nQuick Facts: \n\nMARTA operates 113 bus routes\, a 48-mi heavy rail rapid transit system\, a streetcar line\, and Mobility (paratransit) in the City of Atlanta and Clayton\, DeKalb and Fulton Counties.\nMARTA carries over 142\,000 passenger trips each day.\nMore than 600 buses are used to operate rush-hour service.\nMARTA serves over 8\,900 bus stops.\n\nPLEASE RSVP at 404-270-7090 or cityclerk@eastpointcity.org.
